The Other Side of the Cup

a documentary

The Other Side tells the story of three small coffee farming communities in Guatemala. It's a story about people who work together and depend on each other; communities who support each other and thrive together. Each has its own unique history, challenges, and goals.

Beautiful Mayan heritage, working families, and remote mountain villages are woven together to tell an intimate and personal story of the coffee farmer in Guatemala.

These independent farmers are breaking new ground in areas of women in leadership roles and land ownership, environmental sustainability, and future planning for the next generation of farmers.

Our approach to coffee is based on relationships and that makes a difference in the lives of farmers, their families, and communities. Farmers receive a fair price for their work and we invest to help them continually improve their crop. That collaboration results in exceptional coffee.
